Mommy & Me Minis

I’m easing back from maternity leave after giving birth to my daughter, Emma, in March. I’ve been enjoying time with her since her debut and my husband and I have been adjusting to our new roles as parents, which has felt a bit like boot camp at times. But I really wanted to come back for Mother’s Day as it means so much more to me this year.

It will be a very bittersweet day for me. I’m looking forward to my first Mother’s Day as a mom and celebrating this gift I’ve been given. But this will also be my first Mother’s Day without my mom. She was the epitome of what unconditional love and sacrifice looks like in a mother. While each day is a void without her, I know that this Mother’s Day will be even more so.

One of the most cherished belongings I have is a handful of photographs of my mom and me from my wedding last Fall. I didn't know it at the time, but it was the last happy occasion we would have together before her health rapidly declined. Whenever I look at that photo, I am reminded of just how important it is to capture special moments in pictures. I am thankful that I have this lasting image of us to show to my daughter.

I'll be holding a special round of mini sessions honoring moms and their little ones. Come casual or fancied up. I'm keeping it simple with a white quilt, but feel free to bring along anything else you would like to help make these special pictures your own.

Valentine's Day Snappy Sessions!

Hope 2018 is treating you well so far! Let's start the year off right by capturing some memories for you!

I'll be doing Valentine's Day themed Snappy Sessions on Sat Jan 20th from 9-11:30am and again on Sun Jan 28th from 2-4pm at my home in Shady Acres, which is just west of the Heights near Cedar Creek Restaurant. I'll send exact details upon booking.

More info about snappy sessions:
* $30 for each child (kids only)
* Includes 1 high res digital download for each child
* Additional photos are available for purchase from a gallery of photos
* Take about 5-10 min per child
* I will take individual photos and photos of siblings together if you have more than one child

To book a spot, please click on the link below! The slots listed are 10 min per child, so please book one slot per kiddo (may take less time depending on how things go).

Texas Strong Fundraiser Snappy Sessions

With the events of the last few weeks, most of us either have been impacted by the effects of Hurricane Harvey or know someone who was. If you were one of the families that was affected, first, my heart goes out to you. Secondly, please let me know your situation and if there is anything I can do or you. If you have lost or damaged prints or flash drives, I can send you replacements when it is convenient for you. Just let me know.

I will be doing a fundraiser Texas Strong Snappy session (kids only) on Tues Sept 19th from 4-6pm and Sat Sept 30th from 9-10am at Milroy Park in the Heights. Proceeds will go to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. I will have the modern Texas flag as pictures with the kids, and a vintage Texas flag which has not arrived yet. The flag can be behind them, they can hold it, and/or run with it behind them. I will offer a plain colored photo, color photo with a "Houston Strong" overlay and one with "Texas Strong" overlay as final photo options.

Snappy Information:
