Can't Get Enough of the Bluebonnets! {The Woodlands, TX Family Photography}

These cuties are picture perfect in their bright outfits and those happy smiles.  And that dress, oh how I love a twirly girly dress!!  I had the honor of capturing photos of the smallest little guy in the bunch (here with his momma) when he first arrived into this world a little over a year ago, and it's been so fun to watch him grow.  It was so nice to have the chance to meet his sweet little cousins on this day, all such great kiddos!

More Bluebonnets! {Houston, TX Family Photographer}

More of these lovely bluebonnet sessions from last month.  Check out these sweet little brothers, love the hugs and kisses! Such a great family and fun session!

Had to add this pic as well.  This little fella was pulling this wagon all around with such determination, I just thought this one was too cute :)

And thanks to dad for these fun shots on the flip side!

Texas Bluebonnets {The Woodlands Family Photography}

Things have been busy around here!  As I start to *try* and catch up on the blog, I'm starting out with this beautiful baby girl and her stunning momma.  They were the perfect focal point to the bluebonnets that were still fresh in bloom that morning. These soft and tender moments between a mother and her child always make my heart melt.  Always.  You can just see and feel the love here...

Ohhhh-kaaaay! {Houston, TX Family Photographer}

I keep hearing his sweet little voice in response to my many (many, many) requests to do things for me for the photos.  And he always very obediently and willingly (but probably with a touch of annoyance from my multitude of requests) would endearingly say "Ohhhh-kaaaay".  He was so into his airplane and wagon, you can just see the determination on his face as he pushes or pulls them along.  I love this age, when kids are so real and natural.  You can capture the most unexpected things from their pure candidness.  And the colors, oh my how I love these colors.  Mom did such a wonderful job coordinating it all.  Just fabulous!

And I had to get this shot in of their wonderful shoes!  LOVE!!

And a little behind the scenes shots thanks to mom :) Me bringing the little man back to the "scene" ;)

After the Rain {Houston, TX Family Photographer}

This session took place on a very rainy day.  Had it been any other session, we probably would have had to re-schedule to prevent the whole family getting all dressed up, only to have to call it off.  But since this family IS family, it made those logistics a little easier.  This was during the very busy Fall holiday session time, so there wasn't much room to re-schedule.  I was at my sister and brother-in-law's house and we watched as the rain fell most of the afternoon.  Finally, it cleared up a bit, so everyone quickly changed and we hopped in the car in hopes it would hold out.  But on the drive to the Arboretum, it started to rain buckets again.  We waited in the car, and it let up a bit so we dashed out to start the session before the rain came again.  And boy did we luck out, not only was the Arboretum totally empty but the colors were perfect and we didn't have to hunt for shade to shoot in.  Little man's knees got a little wet and dirty, but all part of the fun!

And one of my favorite shots of the day of my darling nephew

Lil' Buckaroo's! Rodeo Photo Booth {Houston Heights, TX Children Photographer}

I had SO much fun taking photos of these little buckaroo's!  Everyone was so cute in their rodeo outfits, I was so impressed with the variety of adorable cowboy and cowgirl outfits!  Thanks to everyone who came out and to my whole family for all their help!

Cowgirl of the day with her great "catch" ;)

Hearts {Houston Heights, TX Newborn Photographer}

This sweet little man has an awesome nursery that mom and dad put together for him.  I instantly loved the gorgeous art work with a heart above his crib.  But it wasn't until I was editing the photos from the session that I noticed hearts popping up elsewhere.  In the rug, in the shadows, those cute little lips of course.  But even mom and dad perfectly fell into heart shaped poses without any sort of direction.  Love is all around this lovely family!

And who doesn't love a good stink eye ;)
